our beliefs
we believe
We believe the Bible was written by men, supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit; that it is the complete revelation of God to mankind found in the 66 books of the Old Testament and New Testament; that it is truth without any mixture of error; that it is the supreme authority in all matters of Christian faith and living. John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalms 12:6-7

The Trinity
We believe there is only one God. God has always existed as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are eternally co-existent and co-equal in every divine perfection, yet distinct in their offices.Genesis 1, Matthew 28:18-20 2, Corinthians 13:14, 1 John 5:7

God the Father
We believe the Father is eternally God. We believe He had no beginning and has no ending. He was not created: He is the Creator. We believe that God the Father is a spirit and therefore should be worshipped in spirit and in truth. Genesis 1:1; John 4:23-24; Psalm 90:2

God the Son
We believe Jesus Christ is eternally God the Son. He was not created: He is the Creator. Jesus Christ became man by a supernatural conception of the Holy Spirit and birth by a virgin named Mary. He lived a sinless live and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sin on the cross. Jesus literally and physically arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power. He ascended into Heaven where He reigns in glory until the day He returns to the earth again to rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Matthew 1:22-25; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; John 14:10-30; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; 1 Timothy 6:14-15
God the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is eternally God the Spirit. The Holy Spirit was not created: He is the Creator. The Holy Spirit is present in the world making men aware of their sinfulness and their need for Jesus Christ as their Savior. The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of their salvation. He provides every believer with power: to live the Christian life; to understand the Bible; to convict us of sin; to guide us in what is right. The body of ever Christian is the temple of the Holy Spirit. John 14:16-17; John 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:22-25

Mankind
We believe man was made in the image of God and was given dominion over the creation. Mankind is the supreme object of God’s love. Humans were created by God, without sin, yet became sinners as a result of their disobedience to God. As a result, all humans inherit that sinful nature and stand guilty before God. Mankind’s sinful condition can only be remedied by receiving the gift of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:26:28; Psalms 8:3-6; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-21; Romans 6:23

Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift from God to mankind. Mankind can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. It is only when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior (repent of our sins, trust in His finished saving work on the cross, and receive His gift of salvation) that we can be saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his heart by faith.
Romans 5:1; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:13; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 2:8-9

Eternal Security
We believe that God gives man eternal life as a gift through faith in Jesus Christ and that it cannot be lost. The believer is secure in that salvation for all of eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the efforts of the Christian.
John 10:28-29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25; 1 Peter 1:3-5; 1 John 5:10-13
